It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Grady McWhiney. Dr. McWhiney was the first presenter and close friend of the Civil War Round Table of Dallas. He was also the first recipient of the Civil War Round Table of Dallas Grady McWhiney Award of Merit in 1998. Two Hundred Meetings!

Thanks for the memories. On May 12, 2004 the Civil War Round Table of Dallas celebrated its 200th meeting. That’s over 16 years of monthly meetings dedicated to promoting the study of this most important and interesting epoch of U.S. history. Congratulations to the Civil War Round Table of Dallas. We’re growing and still going strong!
