Funding
All of the funding necessary to run the Civil War Round Table of Dallas comes from its members. Annual dues are $25.00 payable on a calendar year basis. In addition, members contribute $2 at each meeting. There is never a charge for guests or visitors. Raffles and other fund-raising events occasionally supplement the treasury. The Civil War Round Table of Dallas does not pay any officers or staff, and only rarely pays honoraria to guest speakers. Where possible, the Civil War Round Table of Dallas joins with other Texas Civil War Round Tables to share the expense of bringing in out-of-state speakers.
